Bob Wielenga - Founder & President of Global Outreach Development

Since 1980, Bob Wielenga has been traveling the world bringing short-term mission teams to assist ministries in need. During much of that travel he noticed the dire need that pastors and ministry leaders, especially in the developing world, have for quality training and resources.
Wanting to do more for these leaders, Bob and his wife Janet began the ministry of Global Outreach Development in May of 2003. Since that time they have had the opportunity to work alongside ministry leaders from many of the major mission agencies and with pastors from a wide variety of denominations.
Like the ripples on a pond, they see the development of disciples around the world as a result of their developing the leaders of the churches within each of these countries. They excitedly envision a day in which every church around the world is a full partner and participant in the Great Commission (not simply a product of it) because every Christian is involved personally and financially.

Joe Neill - Director of Simply Missions

In 2006 Joe worked with Bob to lead a team of high school students to Chichicastenango, Guatemala. Since then Joe has come on staff as the Director of Simply Missions.
Joe is working with churches and Christian schools helping them to develop a strategy for equipping their small groups and students through short-term missions.
Joe's creativity, enthusiasm and passion for developing young people are a great asset to the ongoing ministry of Simply Missions and Global Outreach Development.
